The Karsten Group grows and packs mainly Cantaloupe melons on its farms in the Orange River region.
The cultivar is Athena and is actually known as ‘muskmelons’ with a gray skin and juicy, orange, sweet flesh.
The Cantaloupe’s are harvested in November and December and sold mainly on the local market. |
