The desert conditions of Klein Pella in the Lower Orange region provides the ideal climate for the Karsten Group’s production of Dates. Popular in the Middle East regions for thousands of years, Dates provide a premium source of vitamin C and supplies 230 kcal (960 kJ) of energy.
The production at Klein Pella concentrates on the Medjoul variety which is harvested during March and April and marketed from April to October. |
