School Enrichment Programme

It is estimated that close to 6 000 people benefit directly and indirectly from the school enrichment programme aimed at school learners for self development, leadership and life skills.

The programme organises and facilitates camps and excursions with themes ranging from emotional abuse, self-motivation, communication, relationships, nature and future planning. Furthermore the programme features challenging outdoor activities to promote and develop a “Can Do” attitude.

In addition, The Karsten Group also provides holiday programmes and assistant educators to address education needs that cannot be addressed by the teachers due to overcrowded or combined classes.

The Karsten Group is also a proud sponsor of the very successful School Vegetable Garden Project in the Siyanda and Namaqua regions.

An important part of the program is the implementation and maintenance of computer centers in the schools in the North West province as well as the Northern Cape to train adults and school learners.
