The Karsten Group applies the latest technology of grape production to produce the best quality grapes. Each farming unit has its own modern packing and cooling facilities where pallets are either loaded directly into the containers or on refrigerated trucks to start the long journey to the market.
During this journey cooling regimes are strictly enforced by an experienced team of logistics experts which ensures quick transit to deliver only the best quality products.
The dry desert-like conditions of the Orange River are conducive to the production of healthy products, and great care is taken not to disturb this fine balance between cutting edge technology and the natural growing processes. The requirements of international food safety and environmental laws are adhered to in all aspects of production, and the various farms strictly apply GAP protocols. The farming and packing activities are certified for GlobalGAP, Nurture, BRC and Ethical.
