Timerfruit was founded by Tim Reincke and Eric Brückner in December 2002. From their offices in the Fruit Port of Rotterdam they managed the import and export of overseas fruit. Their focus was on specific products, such as grapes, melons, citrus, stone fruit and apples.
From the beginning onwards Timerfruit has invested in sustainable, exclusive relationships with large producers in the southern hemisphere. Besides that, Timerfruit has specialised with regards to a number of discerning factors, such as quality, food safety, tracking & tracing and a continuous availability during the season in progress.
Since 2002, Timerfruit has seen a strong growth because of their clever adaptation to technological and logistical developments. This has led to the solid organisation of Timerfruit today: the specialist in the field of overseas fruit import with clients all over Europe who are supplied on a daily basis.
Still, Timerfruit is ahead in efficient and effective handling. The acquired knowledge is transferred unremittingly to a daily supply of our European clients with the best fruit sorts of the southern hemisphere. Recently, Timerfruit has moved and is now located at Rotterdam The Hague Airport.
As of 2 January 2014, the South African producer Karsten Group Holdings will take part in Timerfruit. Karsten Group Holdings is a leading producer of grapes, citrus, stone fruit, dates, apples and pears in South Africa.
This participation will enable Timerfruit even more to offer a powerful range of South-African fruit.
