SA Agricultural Writers' named Piet Karsten as the Northern Cape Farmer of the Year

By Annelie Coleman (Farmers’ Weekly) SA Agricultural Writers’ central branch named Piet Karsten from Kanoneiland as the Northern Cape Farmer of the Year and Brian Angus from Arlington as the Free State Farmer of the Year at a gala event in Bloemfontein recently. Karsten is known as one of SA’s biggest farmers and his business includes fruit production, livestock production as well as game farming. He also runs two branches in the Middle East and the UK.
